Coaches

The coaching staff are a mixture of ex high level gymnasts who have turned their hands to coaching the sport they love to new and beginners. As well as this you see a mixture of older staff who will forgive me for saying, may come across as the adult in the gym and perceived as the master to watching parents.

I have been competing in acrobatic gymnastics from a very young age. Some of my greatest achievements include being crowned regional women’s pairs champion for three consecutive years and finishing 3rd in the British Gymnastics Finals. I have also been coaching gymnastics for seven years, teaching a wide variety of gymnasts. I particularly enjoy judging, coaching acrobatic skills and working on new tumbles with gymnasts.  I have obtained my Level 1 coaching certificate and am currently working towards my Level 2 qualification. I also hope to obtain my Level 1 Acrobatic Gymnastics certificate in the near future.

I have been cheerleading for 5 years now. It is definitely my preferred sport, one of my favourite parts of cheerleading is tumble and stunting. I currently cheer for an all girl team called Galaxy Allstars, which is based in Harlow. I’m in the process of working towards my level One General Gymnastics, once I’ve undertaken this I’ll then take my Cheerleading level One. At the moment I’m a full-time lifeguard, in the future I wish to go into Sports Development. My interests are generally all sports, including rounders, surfing and badminton.

I have been a trampoline coach for over 10 years. I am a level 2 recreational coach and I am also qualified to teach special needs classes. I have worked at many leisure centres in Hertfordshire and have recently started working with Apex Trampoline Club in Harlow. My favourite move is Seat landing, ½ twist to back landing. I have two children who both have participated in Trampolining and Gymnastics since they could walk! My youngest daughter has just completed her first year on the competitive trampoline circuit at grade H & G and is hoping to move up to Grade F next season. I also love Ice Skating and listening to Dance music.
